Master's Program

APOC houses a variety of ongoing academic efforts revolving around the Master's program. The Master's program is the first one-year graduate program on online communities, and prepares students for roles as community developers and cultivators. The curriculum of the program, taught by our many faculty and industry faculty, provides students with a balance of academic theory, applied skills, and research knowledge. Internships are central to the M.A. program, and provide students valuable working knowledge that they apply in their final projects.

Several Ph.D students at the Annenberg School for Communication participate in the program as research assistants on projects led by our reputable faculty.
