Social Media Week starts on Monday.Key cities around the globe are hosting a week full of discussions about the key issues and challenges facing social media, as well as the influence that social media is having on society. APOC is proud to be a participant and advisor to this outstanding event.

RewardTag is featured deal on Jasmere.com

Congrats to Brian Nichols (APOC 2010) for launching RewardTag.com and for being March 29th's deal on Jasmere.com (a daily deal coupon site).   RewardTag is a brilliantly simple business that provides stickers to put on electronic devices.  If a device (phone, laptop, camera, etc) is found, the finder logs into the site, types in the unique ID number printed on the RewardTag, and receives a reward for returning the item.  Finally, we have a way to get back our data, pictures, and other personal info rather than just replacing our lost devices!!

Not only do APOC students care about the world, but they are poised to respond in meaningful and effective ways. Last month, within 24 hours of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Evan Jones and Charles Rubinoff (both 2011 current students) created and launched USC for Japan. This site provides information, as well as donation options, for people who care about the natural disaster in Japan.
