Social Media Week, a great week for APOC

Social Media Week Los Angeles just ended.  APOC cosponsored and advised the event, students volunteered, and everyone had the chance to attend.  Our own Jeff Cole, Director of USC's Center for the Digital Future and a founder of APOC, was there as a keynote speaker.  Cole is unique in his understanding of digital trends.  Having tracked internet (and now mobile) usage and trends for more than a decade, and having worked with large and small companies worldwide, there is no one more knowledgeable than Jeff Cole.  We heard about the digital and mobile impact on television and film, how digital is changing advertising, how people are now starting to use a second screen (laptop or tablet) to view related content as they watch TV, and about new technologies that we will soon have in our homes and offices.   Jeff shared date, insights, and anecdotes with the fascinated audience.  We are proud to have Jeff as a regular lecturer, advisor, and friend of APOC.
